Federal COBRA Model Notices Updated

The updates were made to add language informing workers that if they are eligible for COBRA continuation coverage when leaving a job, they may choose to instead purchase coverage through the federal Health Insurance Marketplace. Other revisions were also made to the notices, but they are more technical in nature.

In addition to information regarding COBRA, California employers need to provide information relating to extension of benefits under Cal-COBRA.
